Thanksgiving is a time to pause, reflect, and cherish the blessings in our lives. But why let gratitude shine only once a year? When we nurture gratitude daily, it becomes a powerful force that transforms our perspective, strengthens relationships, and enhances well-being.

Here are three simple ways to make gratitude a part of your daily life:

1. Start a Gratitude Journal
Set aside a few minutes each day to jot down three things you’re grateful for. These could be big moments, like reconnecting with a friend, or small joys, like the warmth of your morning coffee. Over time, you’ll notice your focus shifting toward positivity and abundance. Bonus tip: doing this in the morning helps set you up to look for the good things!

2. Create a Gratitude Trigger
Choose something you do every day—brushing your teeth, brewing tea, or commuting to work—and use it as a reminder to pause and name one thing you’re grateful for in that moment. It’s a simple way to weave gratitude into your routine. Bonus tip: as an evening practice, this helps you reflect and remind yourself of the things you are grateful for from your day.

3. Express It Out Loud
Gratitude grows when shared. Take a moment to thank someone for their kindness, compliment a colleague, or write a heartfelt note to a loved one. Expressing gratitude not only uplifts others but also deepens your connection to them. Bonus tip: when you share a kindness outloud, it not only raises your vibration and that of the recipient, but also everyone who overhears it! It is a ripple effect! Create a ripple of kindness and gratitude.
